However, once we got almost back to Gertie, it began to clear. Back up we trotted and I'm glad we did!

  After taking all this in, we hopped into Gertie and made our way to Canyonlands for a final day of hiking.


 

The two Sixshooters near the entrance to Canyonlands National Park's Needles District.
We'd camp not far from here and hike in the park next morning.
