This beautiful unique city is really overrun with tourists.
(I guess that includes us!)
You will see snapshots of scenes we took in. This isn't a travelogue so most of the images
are not captioned. Just enjoy them and you will get a rough visual idea of
what Venice is like.
After a couple-hour train ride and about the same of walking, we were in the heart of Venezia.
These next photos are of the Piazza San Marco
The campanile, the tall brick bell tower for the basilica.
The Patriarchal Cathedral Basilica of Saint Mark
(Saint Mark's Basilica)
Boardwalks used when the Piazza is flooded. We saw lots of stacks of these stored walkways.

Is kebab Italian fare?
DEU by Toby Möhring.
We found this in an out-of-the-way spot.
Our private "outdoor" sitting spot at the B & B had this view of the sky. Otherwise, we had no view.
That is, of course, until we went outside!
